This vision came alive during the recent <strong data-start=\"342\" data-end=\"406\">IBRA activity at MCHC Abattoir in Kudu 3 Ward, Katsina State<\/strong>, a powerful step toward health and hope.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"715\">Sponsored by <strong data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"545\">Rotary International through the Nigeria National PolioPlus Committee (NNPPC)<\/strong>, the health camp focused on addressing both immediate healthcare needs and the challenge of vaccine hesitancy in a community with a history of high vaccine rejections.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"790\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8682 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/480707202_969067888660316_4054823661429560384_n-300x184.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/480707202_969067888660316_4054823661429560384_n-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/480707202_969067888660316_4054823661429560384_n-768x472.jpg 768w, https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/480707202_969067888660316_4054823661429560384_n.jpg 934w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The camp recorded remarkable achievements: <strong data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"809\">126 children<\/strong> received the life-saving Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV), including <strong data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"895\">4 zero-dose children<\/strong> who were vaccinated for the very first time. <strong data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"973\">Integrated CMAM services<\/strong> were delivered to help tackle acute malnutrition among children. <strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1086\">Essential drugs, sweets, and detergents<\/strong> were distributed to caregivers, supporting both health and hygiene needs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1288\">This comprehensive approach not only protected children from polio but also addressed broader community health challenges.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1288\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8680 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/481204643_969067831993655_1605194424484594434_n-236x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"186\" height=\"236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/481204643_969067831993655_1605194424484594434_n-236x300.jpg 236w, https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/481204643_969067831993655_1605194424484594434_n-806x1024.jpg 806w, https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/481204643_969067831993655_1605194424484594434_n-768x976.jpg 768w, https:\/\/polioplus.org.ng\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/481204643_969067831993655_1605194424484594434_n.jpg 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 186px) 100vw, 186px\" \/>The success of the camp was made possible through the joint efforts of <strong data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1464\">Rotary Volunteers, Local Government Area staff, and community leaders<\/strong> who worked hand-in-hand to deliver services and foster trust within the community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1551\" data-end=\"1800\">With the <strong data-start=\"1560\" data-end=\"1682\">unwavering support of NNPPC Chairman, PDG Joshua Hassan, and Vice Chairman, HRH Ndanusa Yakubu (Sarkin Nupawa Katsina)<\/strong>, the activity showcased the power of collaboration and grassroots engagement in overcoming barriers to vaccination.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1807\" data-end=\"1843\"><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1844\" data-end=\"2188\">The Kudu 3 Ward health camp is a shining example of how targeted health interventions can transform perceptions, reduce resistance, and encourage vaccine acceptance.
